The Drag-Hound kit includes:
- tough X back sled dog harness

- bags for you to fill with sand or gravel to act as weights.
Guidelines:
- get your dog used to the harness with no tyre at first
- attach the tyre with no additional weight and encourage him to pull
- place weights if necessary inside the tyre, depending on your dog's strength and stamina, the terrain over which he is pulling and whether you want him to walk at your side or run off lead
- start on lead and assess the dog
- encourage him to pull. NEVER force a dog
- the dog should be able to pull with a moderate effort. If he is panting excessively or looks distressed take off weights or stop
- not suitable for dogs under one year old or dogs with cardiovascular or joint problems.Very overweight dogs will need to be gradually built up to heavier weights. When in doubt always consult your vet first.
